TWIN INDEPENDENT CIRCUIT DESIGN
guarantees higher reliability. In the event of
failure in any one of the circuits, the performance
and functioning of the other circuit is not affected.
Breakdowns can be repaired without switching off
our MRI chillers.
EFFICIENT SCROLL COMPRESSORS
of Danfoss (Denmark) are provided as standard
in all Flamingo MRI chillers. These compressors
come with a high efficiency in built motor and
hybrid-wrap scroll design that helps reduce energy
costs in normal operating conditions and delivers
high capacity and an optimized pressure ratio
for refrigeration applications.
SS304 SHELL & TUBE EVAPORATOR
is built with copper tubes of 19 SWG that enables
them to withstand hard water, unlike Plate heat
exchangers that burst as a result of salt deposits.
The copper tubes contain Flamingo patented star
turbulator inserts that provide turbulence to
the refrigerant traveling inside the copper tubes.
As a result of turbulence the Direct Expansion
type Shell & Tube evaporators are extremely
efficient. The evaporator is of twin circuit design.
The evaporator shell is manufactured from stainless
steel of 304 Grade. The evaporator is designed
as per ASME Section VIII Div.1.
ULTRA EFFICIENT AIR COOLED CONDENSER
built for equatorial conditions with condensing
temperatures of 60 degree Celsius considered as
the basis of design. Efficient condensing of the
refrigerant results in power savings and lower
maintenance costs. The fins are CNC manufactured
in special grade aluminum of 0.15 mm thickness
that are mechanically expanded around internally
grooved 0.5 mm thick copper tube, in a staggered
sine wave pattern.
OPTIONAL HYDROPHOBIC COATED FINS
results in five times better corrosion resistance
than uncoated fin sand increase durability under
severe corrosive/salty conditions.
AXIAL FANS of 5-lobe, bird-wing
design of ebm-nadi are a standard feature of Flamingo
MRI Chillers.
HIGH COP/EER - As a result efficient
condensing of refrigerant. These durable industrial
MRI chillers are designed to meet the applicable
requirements of ASHRAE/ANSI 15 Safety Code.
ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY R-134A
reduces discharge pressure by over 40% resulting
in extremely efficient condensation thereby increasing
the COP compared to R-22 (Freon) or R-407C refrigerant
designs. Lowered discharge pressure also means
lesser load on the refrigerant piping and hence
employs longer life and lower maintenance costs.
MAGNA CONTROLER AS STANDARD
is a PLC based controller specifically developed
for use in Flamingo range of MRI chillers. The
controller allows numerous set point ranges that
can be pre-configured to particular set of values
that may be considered within the safe operating
range. In case of any breach in any of the set
point value the controller will trip the MRI chillers
and inform the user about the particular malfunction
on the LCD display.
CONTROL PANEL with IP-65 protection
is provided as standard part of the MRI chillers
equipment. All control and electrical cables are
provided with thermally printed ferrule clearly
indicating connection terminals. The control panels
are powder coated and mounted within the MRI chillers
framework. In case of Magnum controller, the microprocessor
section and electrical section are housed in separate
sections of the control panel. For ease of installation
and servicing, all control and electrical wires
are mounted on cable trays running through the
length of the MRI chillers on either side and
is a standard part of the MRI chillers equipment.
SS PUMP of unmatched reliability
from Grundfos (Denmark) is provided as standard
in all Flamingo MRI chillers
SS TANK of 304 Grade and of
sufficient capacity depending upon the Chillers
model is standard part of the MRI chillers equipment.
AUTOMATIC TANK FILL UP feature
using an electronic solenoid valve is a standard
part of the equipment. The electronic valve automatically
fills up the tank when water levels drop due to
sweating losses.
OPTIONAL MAGNUM MICROPROCESSOR WITH
REMOTE MONITORING increases reliability
and performance of MRI chillers by reducing breakdowns.
The microprocessor provides real-time feedback
to our remote monitoring center of any parameter
approaching the breach limit resulting in better
preventive maintenance and trouble free performance.
By eliminating time losses, remote monitoring
ensures optimized profitability and minimizes

OPTIONAL ELECTRONIC EXPANSION VALVE
allows for precise control of refrigerant flow
through the evaporator. The expansion valve is
very sensitive to load variations and adjusts
the flow of refrigerant with short response times
to achieve power savings. This option is only
valid in MRI Chillers that are opted with Magnum
controller.
OPTIONAL SPARE PUMP can be provided along with
the main pump. In the event of failure the spare
pump would automatically take over.
OPTIONAL VFD combines the reliability
of a scroll compressor with the energy savings
of a variable frequency drive (VFD). This simple,
reliable combination achieves ultra-high efficiency
levels while lowering the cost of ownership. The
Schneider ATV range of VFD’s are perfectly
matched to Flamingo MRI chillers with Magnum controller.
