From Heat Engineering to
specialists in temperature control
In the year 1987, FMT set up a new 10000 sq. ft. plant and forayed into chiller manufacturing business. A new company by the name of Cooling Systems, Inc. (CSI) was established with a mission to design & manufacture state of art HVAC/ Refrigeration plants. CSI was one of the first companies in India to introduce screw compressor technology. CSI 102, CSI 128 and CSI 165 are highly reputed chiller systems which were installed in various leading pharmaceutical organizations.
In the year 2005, FMT management floated another company by the name of Flamingo Chillers. Flamingo Chillers, was incorporated with the mission of supplying latest semi hermetic screw and scroll compressor technology. The business model of Flamingo Chillers was to import the best components in HVAC/Refrigeration technology and assemble the chillers in India. Thus the organizational structure of Flamingo Chillers is lean with more emphasis on service instead of manufacture.
